People come from all over the North to benefit from the professional training, patience and enthusiasm.

The Sewing Shed is situated in a beautiful converted chapel. The bespoke studio is modern, bright and airy, it’s a great place to learn to sew.

Wide range of classes:

You can learn anything from dressmaking (including fitting, and adapting patterns) to how to make soft furnishings. Our sewing classes will teach you to make interior items such as curtains, Roman blinds, cushions and loose covers. You’ll cover techniques such as patchwork, quilting, appliqué, concealed zips, free-motion embroidery, piping, bags, bunting, and lots more. As well as weekly classes we offer weekend workshops.
